Stat bars and tiers are fan-tier estimates carried over from the Vault dossiers — where the research only supports a range (by era, version or armour), the game uses the range midpoint and flags it, rather than inventing a precise power number. Comics versions are the default everywhere; film versions only score in the Movie Night arena.
Quick Draft: a random 20 fighters are drawn from the full 152 — fast game, real scarcity. Blind Draft: roles and alignment are shown, names stay hidden until a fighter is picked.
Bans on (recommended): each player removes 2 fighters before the draft — the god-tier valve for picks you refuse to face. In a Best-of-3, the loser of the last game bans first in the next one.
Snake order: P1, P2, P2, P1, P1, P2, P2, P1, P1, P2 — five each, no duplicates across both teams.
Vault Draft is a standalone game built on The Versus Vault's researched roster: comics-first versions, dossier powers and feats, named weaknesses, counters and finishes. Every one of the 152 fighters now has a portrait: the 120 Versus Vault fighters carry the Vault's own artwork, reused with the roster, and the 32 fighters who exist only in Vault Draft carry published comic art of each character, checked one by one so nobody is wearing the wrong face. Tiers and stat bars are fan estimates from that research — flagged as estimates, never presented as official power numbers. The Versus Vault project itself is untouched by this page.
